Art has been very important to me since I was very young. My first art project was a "Painted Collage" on a shopping bag. My first "art" class was in welding, which introduced me to a place where nothing else mattered so much as my imagination. Various studies and moves led me to my current home in Richmond, Virginia.
Losing awareness in the flow and letting the process itself guide my hands, I paint, layer, glue, and draw as various emotions subconsciously creep in. Exploration, play, experimentation and/or anger finally reveal themselves on paper. The results unite my moods, with hope the viewer can visualize or share my feelings.
